Ingredients:
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon zest (optional)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup heavy cream
Powdered sugar (for topping, optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
2. Prepare a springform pan by greasing it and lining the bottom with parchment paper.
3. In a large bowl, beat the ricotta and cream cheese together until smooth.
4. Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, lemon zest (if using), flour, and cream. Mix until well combined and smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
6. Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until the center is just set and the top is lightly golden.
7. Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving.
8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
