This is my go-to breakfast when I want something warm, filling, and naturally sweet. Banana oatmeal is not only quick to make, but it’s also super comforting — like a cozy hug in a bowl!

Ingredients (Serves 1): 🛒


1/2 cup rolled oats 🌾


1 cup milk or water (or a mix) 🥛


1 ripe banana, mashed 🍌


1/4 tsp cinnamon 🌰


A pinch of salt 🧂


Optional toppings: banana slices, honey, nuts, chia seeds, or peanut butter 🥜🍯

How to Make It: 👩‍🍳


1. In a small pot, combine the oats, milk/water, mashed banana, cinnamon, and salt.



2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens (about 5 minutes).



3. Pour into a bowl and add your favorite toppings! I love adding extra banana slices and a drizzle of honey. 🍯🍌



4. Serve warm — and enjoy every comforting spoonful.

Tips from My Kitchen: 💡


For extra creaminess, use half milk and half water.


Want it sweeter? Add a few raisins or a splash of vanilla extract.


You can even prep a dry oat mix in a jar with cinnamon and salt — just add banana and liquid when ready!
