How to Make Lunenburg Pudding – My Way ✨🍽️
If you love trying new recipes, Lunenburg Pudding is a great choice! 😋 Despite its name, which might make you think it's a dessert 🎂, it’s actually a traditional Canadian sausage with a rich and delicious flavor. 🌭
Ingredients: 🛒
🥩 500g ground meat (preferably pork, but you can use beef or chicken)
🍞 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
🧅 1 small onion, finely chopped
🧂 1 teaspoon salt
⚫ ½ teaspoon black pepper
🍂 ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
🌰 ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
🫚 ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
🥚 1 beaten egg
🥛 ½ cup milk or broth (whichever you have)
Instructions: 👩🍳
1️⃣ In a large bowl, mix the ground meat with onion, breadcrumbs, and all the spices until well combined. 🥄
2️⃣ Add the egg and milk, then mix until you get a firm, sticky mixture. 🏺
3️⃣ Shape the mixture into a log, then wrap it tightly in parchment paper and aluminum foil. 🎁
4️⃣ Place it in a steamer and let it cook over medium heat for 1.5 to 2 hours. 🔥
