Ingredients:
For the Dough:
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup melted butter
1 egg
½ teaspoon salt
For the Filling:
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
¼ cup melted butter
For the Icing:
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Knead into a soft dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
2. Make the Filling: Mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
3. Roll & Fill: Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter, and sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon mix. Roll it up and cut into equal pieces.
4. Bake: Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
5. Ice & Serve: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the icing. Drizzle over warm rolls and enjoy!
