4-6 cups water

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Water: In a large pot, bring water and salt to a rolling boil.
2. Cook the Lobster: Carefully place the lobster into the boiling water, head first. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes per pound (a 1.5 lb lobster takes about 12-15 minutes).
3. Check for Doneness: The lobster shell should be bright red, and the meat inside should be opaque white.
