 Bison Burgers

Bison burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. Bison meat has a rich flavor and tender texture, plus it’s lower in fat and higher in protein, making it a great choice for health-conscious food lovers!


Ingredients:


✅ 500g ground bison meat 🐃

✅ ½ tsp salt 🧂

✅ ½ tsp black pepper 🌶️

✅ ½ tsp garlic powder 🧄 (optional)

✅ 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 🍶 (optional for extra flavor)

✅ 1 tsp olive oil 🫒 (for cooking)

✅ 4 burger buns 🍞

✅ Cheese slices (optional) 🧀

✅ Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and sauces as desired 🥬🍅🧅


Instructions:


1️⃣ Prepare the meat: In a bowl, mix the ground bison with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the patties tough.

2️⃣ Form the patties: Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape them into burger patties about 2 cm thick.

3️⃣ Cook the burgers: Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side until they reach the desired doneness.

4️⃣ Add cheese: If using cheese, place a slice on top of each burger in the last minute of cooking to let it melt.

5️⃣ Assemble & serve: Place the burgers in buns and add your favorite toppings and sauces, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.


Tips:


🔥 Don’t overcook bison meat—it’s leaner than beef and can dry out quickly.

🍔 Serve with roasted potatoes or a side salad for a balanced meal.

💡 Try different sauces like spiced mayo or BBQ sauce for extra flavor!
