Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter or oil
3/4 cup water or milk
Instructions:
1. Mix the dry ingredients – In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add fat – Mix in butter or oil until the mixture is crumbly.
3. Add liquid – Gradually add water or milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.
4. Knead lightly – On a floured surface, knead the dough a few times, then shape it into a round disc.
5. Cook:
Baking: Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
Frying: Heat oil in a pan, flatten the dough into small rounds, and fry until golden brown on both sides.
Campfire Cooking: Wrap around a stick and cook over an open fire.
