2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ cup heavy cream (optional, for a creamy sauce)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the ravioli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the sauce: In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add tomatoes and seasoning: Stir in crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Make it creamy (optional): Add heavy cream and stir until the sauce is smooth. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
5. Combine with ravioli: Add the cooked ravioli to the sauce and gently toss to coat.
