Ingredients:
1 can of tuna (drained)
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1–2 tablespoons chopped onion or celery (optional)
2 slices of bread
2 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or American)
Butter (for spreading on bread)

Instructions:
1. Make the tuna mixture:
In a bowl, mix the tuna, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and optional onion or celery.
2. Assemble the sandwich:
Spread the tuna mixture onto one slice of bread.
Place cheese on top of the tuna.
Cover with the second slice of bread.
3. Toast the sandwich:
Spread butter on the outside of both bread slices.
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Cook the sandwich for 2–3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
4. Serve:
Cut in half and serve hot with chips, salad, or soup.
