Step-by-Step Instructions


1. Prepare the Dough


1. In a small bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.



2. In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine flour and sugar.



3. Add yeast mixture, eggs, butter, vanilla, and salt, mixing until a sticky dough forms.



4. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

2. Shape the Bomboloni


1. Punch down the risen dough and turn it onto a floured surface.

3. Fry the Bomboloni


1. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
