 Ingredients:


1 block firm tofu (pressed and cut into cubes)


2 tablespoons olive oil


2 cloves garlic, minced


1/2 teaspoon dried oregano


1/2 teaspoon dried basil


Salt and pepper to taste


1 cup marinara sauce (or any Italian tomato sauce)


Optional: chopped fresh parsley or basil for garnish


Optional: grated vegan Parmesan or regular cheese

Instructions:


1. Prepare the tofu:

Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.



2. Season the tofu:

In a bowl, toss tofu cubes with olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.



3. Cook the tofu:

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden and crispy on all sides (about 7–10 minutes).



4. Add sauce:

Pour the marinara sauce over the tofu. Lower the heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes, allowing the tofu to absorb the flavor.



5. Serve:

Serve hot over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread. Garnish with herbs or cheese if desired.
