Basic version:
Cook the potatoes until they are tender.
Boiling version:
Place the potatoes in a pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook for 10–15 minutes or until fork-tender.
Frying version:
Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until golden and crispy.
Baking version:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 30–40 minutes until soft inside and crispy outside.
