---

Instructions:

1. Prepare the pan:

Line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) square pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Lightly grease it.

2. Melt the ingredients:

In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.

Stir constantly until everything is melted and smooth (don’t let it boil).

3. Add vanilla and extras:

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

If using nuts or other mix-ins, stir them in now.

4. Pour and chill:

Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

Spread evenly with a spatula.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.

5. Cut and serve:

Lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into small squares.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
